Every house at Rancho is full of global treasures collected, found and inspired by Sheila’s travels around the world. At the Mercado this spring, we’ll have our ever-expanding line of Rancho goods, made just for us -- for you. And we’re bringing in a few more of our favorite pickers, collectors and designers to hang with us and sell their fine merchandise this spring.
We’re excited to welcome the wildly talented artist and designer Ellen Macomber from New Orleans. Not only will she be bringing some of her extraordinary clutches and one-of-a-kind caftans from The Big Easy, but she’s leading us in two fabulous Headdress Workshops. We. Cannot. Wait.
As part of a growing desire to offer an immersion into the rich and vibrant cultures around the globe that inspire her spaces and her style — and to bring more opportunities to artists and makers who live there, Sheila is teaming up with the sublime and uninhibited artist and designer Elizabeth Chapin to orchestrate a truly unique and unforgettable journey. These two colorful women are inviting eight adventurous treasure hunters to experience magical Morocco in September. Will you join their caravan?
To give us a big dose of all the beauty and spirit and color we’ll experience there, our friend Mollie Brown is unpacking crates of handpicked Moroccan goodness in our field: gorgeous textiles, new and vintage rugs, blankets and poufs. You can feel Mollie’s deep love of Morocco when you see the beautiful collection she’s bringing to Round Top to share with us. And her Due East Co. treasures will feel right at home here in Texas. Did you know if you travel due east from Texas along the 31° N latitude line, you’ll hit Morocco? There’s a unique connection between our places and spaces for sure. We’re already dreaming of Mollie’s vignettes peppered around the pasture, and we know you’ll find something that feels like home to you.
Come shop and play with us from 5:00 until 10:00 on the nights of our Feasts on April 1 and 2, and take a little bit of Rancho, Morocco and New Orleans back home with you. There’s no place like Round Top this time of year, and we love spending these days and nights with you on this land.
