We love the ritual of setting the long table here at Rancho, anticipating the feeling that follows once the gathering starts. This spring, we‘re inspired by the incomparable feeling of one of our favorite cities: New Orleans, and the friendship we share with NOLA’s very own, chef Kelly Fields. In the spirit of bringing people together, we’ve invited chef Cheetie Kumar of Raleigh, NC, (via India and NYC) to bring her own colorful, culinary voice to our field to share in the magic of the night. Come celebrate all things soulful, authentic, extravagant, playful, rebellious and bold.
Come early for a couture headdress workshop with Ellen Macomber, a master costumer in New Orleans. Ellen is bringing all the materials for an inspired afternoon creating your very own headdresses. And we’ll shoot portraits in the field so you leave with a memory of your time at the Rancho. It’s a crazy fun way to relax (with champagne) after a day of treasure hunting in the fields. Click here to get your tickets to the workshop.
We hope you’ll accept the invitation to join us in our wonderland for a Rancho Pillow-meets-New Orleans-style party. The gate opens at 5:00, and we’ll be slinging classic cocktails, making headdresses, cooking over a live fire in the field, telling stories, shopping in the Mercado, making new friends, listening to live music, and celebrating the joy of being together under a big Texas moon.
There is no city in the world like New Orleans, and there is no place in the world like Rancho Pillow. We have tickets available on two very special nights: Monday, April 1 and Tuesday, April 2. Tickets are on sale now. Come feast at our global table with Kelly and Cheetie. Rain or shine, you’ll never forget it.
